Based in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Anderson Fyfe LLP has a core legal division and a volume services division. Anderson Fyfe's core legal division provides partner-led advice covering corporate and commercial matters, litigation, professional negligence, TMT, employment, insolvency and commercial property matters. There is also a comprehensive private client service. The firm's volume work is in the provision of re-mortgage and debt recovery services. The firm's volume remortgage department operates throughout the UK. It acts for a range of primary, secondary and tertiary lenders, as does the volume debt recovery department, which also acts for a large number of institutions (including Scottish Power plc, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Enterprise - for whom Anderson Fyfe LLP is exclusive litigation agent).

Anderson Fyfe provide a full range of legal advice within its various specialisms. The corporate and finance department is focused on small and medium-sized, businesses, with particular emphasis on start-ups and spin-outs. The department also has expertise in acquisitions and disposals, MBOs, share issues and associated corporate finance matters. The commercial litigation department, which also handles the firm's professional negligence work, has two solicitor advocates. This department has particular expertise in commercial contracts disputes, including commercial agency work and Court of Session licensing appeals.

The firm's insolvency department deals with all personal and corporate solvency matters. The commercial property department has expertise in commercial leasing, brand acquisitions and land development. The department acts for a number of national house builders and multinationals in connection with site development. The private client department provides a comprehensive service, advising on trust and executry matters, wealth management and personal taxation.
